Nicholas DePrima, PsyD, ABPP-CN, is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist. He is recognized as a specialist in clinical neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN).

Dr. DePrima has extensive experience evaluating individuals with cognitive disorders in both hospital and clinic settings. He provides evidence-based neuropsychological assessments for various conditions, including dementias such as Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, frontotemporal dementia, and Lewy Body disease.

His expertise also extends to movement disorders like Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis, as well as traumatic brain injuries ranging from mild concussions to severe injuries. Additionally, he evaluates patients who have experienced strokes, cerebral hemorrhages, and other cognitive impairments resulting from neurological or medical conditions.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. DePrima has contributed to research in Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease through his involvement in clinical trials.

He has also been a key member of comprehensive teams within memory disorder clinics. Furthermore, Dr. DePrima specializes in pre- and post-surgical evaluations for Parkinson’s patients undergoing deep brain stimulation (DBS) procedures.

Dr. Nicholas DePrima completed his undergraduate degree at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. He completed his doctorate in clinical psychology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He completed his predoctoral internship in the clinical neuropsychology specialty track at Jackson Medical Center/University of Miami. Dr. DePrima completed a 2-year post-doctoral residency in clinical neuropsychology at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. In his free time, Dr. DePrima enjoys exercising, cooking, and spending time with his family.
