Led by Dr. Nicholas DePrima, PsyD, ABPP-CN, a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist, our practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for individuals facing cognitive challenges.
With extensive experience in both hospital and clinic settings, Dr. DePrima specializes in evaluating and diagnosing conditions such as dementia, movement disorders, traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological or medical-related cognitive impairments.

Dr. DePrima is a COGScreen AE-2 provider and HIMS (Human Intervention Motivation Study) Neuropsychologist.
Dr. DePrima provides aviation neuropsychology services that meet specifications for neuropsychological examination required for medical certification/re-certification.
Common conditions for current or aspiring aviators/air traffic controllers include:
- Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
ADHD/ADD – Fast Track and Standard Track - Substance Abuse/Dependence
- SSRI/Antidepressant Medications
- Potential Neurocognitive Impairment
- Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)

Neuropsychological evaluations can assist with diagnostic and treatment planning and provide information about a person’s cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
Common reasons to request a neuropsychological evaluation include the following conditions and disorders:
- Traumatic brain injury/concussion
- Cerebrovascular Disease and Stroke
- Mild Cognitive Impairment
- Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias
- Movement Disorders (e.g. Parkinson’s, Huntington disease)

About Dr. DePrima

Dr. DePrima

Dr. Nicholas DePrima, PsyD, ABPP-CN, is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist specializing in cognitive disorders. He provides evidence-based neuropsychological assessments for conditions like dementia, movement disorders, traumatic brain injuries, and stroke.
With experience in clinical research trials and memory disorder clinics, he also conducts pre- and post-surgical evaluations for Parkinson’s patients undergoing deep brain stimulation (DBS).
Dr. DePrima earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed specialized training at Jackson Medical Center and Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital.
In his free time, he enjoys exercising, cooking, and spending time with his family.
